Request a Free Indoor/Outdoor Water Efficiency Audit to assess current water use and receive detailed recommendations for practical solutions and improvements for your facility and landscape area.
Our auditors will survey your building and grounds to identify key water and money saving opportunities. You can opt to participate in either indoor or outdoor or both.
The indoor audit will create an equipment inventory list and location of high water use fixtures that should be retrofitted with more efficient models. The outdoor audit includes a comprehensive assessment of your current irrigation system and specific recommendations for system upgrades. For large outdoor sites, a sampling of areas with similar irrigation and plants may be performed, rather than an audit of the entire site. The audit will also identify the potential to use recycled water.
The auditor’s recommendations will be provided to you in a clear and concise water audit report.
The audit reports will be your reference and guide to initiating equipment upgrades.
Funds are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. To sign up for a Public Sector Indoor/Outdoor Water Audit:

A separate form must be filled out for each site. Please request audits for only sites you believe will implement the recommended retrofits.

Metropolitan will contact you to schedule the audit. The full audit typically takes 1 day depending on the size of the building or landscape area.
The water audit report will be hand delivered by program staff and explained in detail.
